Increasingly, the quality of community life is equated with the quality of its educational institutions. In a knowledge economy, education is the primary means of producing goods and services, consequently incomes, and ultimately wealth.

This section considers a gamut of outcome indicators, from pre-K to higher education. It briefly examines the community's financial support for public education. The trends cover both Skagit County as a whole, as well as the individual school districts via downloadable data.
